It is Friday night poker at my best friend’s house. We have been playing poker there for about two years with the same resin chips that have the insert. These chips were alright, but they just did not sound or feel right when we played with them. Well, this Friday, my friend brings out a new set of Casino Quality Poker Chips. He said they were the real clay ones like they use in the casinos. There was something bothering me about these chips though, I felt like I had seen them before somewhere before but could not put my finger on where I had seen them. I finally asked my friend where he got the poker chips and if we had used any like them before in our games as they seemed familiar to me. Even our friends who tend to drink a bit more alcohol during our games had no problem telling the colors apart when we were using these as opposed to when we were using our less quality poker chips.

As the game progressed, I totally fell in love with these and decided I had to purchase some for myself for when I hosted poker night at my house. I had not yet moved on from the small, cheap plastic chips that you can get at most discount stores. Usually someone would bring their own Chips to my games as no one wanted to play with my toy poker chips.

I asked my friend where I could find the 10g Soprano Clay Striped Casino Poker Chips and he promised to send me the link for them online. As the game progressed, I was happy when I was the chip leader after an hour, boy did those chips look good sitting in front of me.

I could not wait to get home and order my own set of these. I wanted to practice some of my chip tricks and wanted to use them in my next home game. Unfortunately I did not keep the chip lead in our tournament and ended getting second place, which is not bad considering the caliber of players in our game.
